This was one if the best Thai food we ever had. You can take any dish, they are all fabulous. Even the interior design is cosy and the service was top. We would come here regularly, if we would live here. Prices totally ok.
We ate at the restaurant and it was so good that we went back twice... it was the best noodle we have ever had. The flavours were exceptional. And yet we are French so we are demanding in terms of food 😂 The owner Ian is incredibly kind. We hesitated between many dishes and he advised us very well. The service is also impeccable! If you are in the area, this is a MUST stop.
Our absolute favourite Thai restaurant whenever we’re holidaying in Port Fairy and truly worth the short drive to Warrnambool. Honestly, we’ve even contemplated making a day trip from Melbourne just for their incredible Pad Thai… it’s that good. Every dish is consistently delicious, fresh, and full of flavour. A special shout-out to Ian for his genuine warmth and welcome, he always goes above and beyond. Thank you for always making our visits so special. We’ll be back (again and again).
Came here for dinner on Saturday night while playing the tennis tournament. My partner is Thai and we both agreed that this was the best Thai food we've eaten in Australia. Every dish was delicious and the service was friendly and fast. We will be back every time we visit Warrnambool.
I’ve been dining at Madala for more than seven years, and it’s always my first choice whenever I’m in Warrnambool for work. No other Thai restaurant in town comes close. The food is authentic, fresh, flavourful, and consistently outstanding. The service is warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. Ian, Piao,Brett, and the entire team are knowledgeable, passionate, and always go the extra mile to ensure every visit is a great experience. I regularly trust their recommendations and have never been disappointed. Do yourself a favour and drop in, relax, and prepare to be delighted.
This Thai restaurant has such a warm, cozy vibe. The food is really good—especially the shrimp, which is firm and fresh, cooked to perfection. The service is super friendly too; the staff are attentive and make you feel welcome. It’s a lovely spot to enjoy some delicious Thai dishes with a nice atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out!

Beautiful meal! A very cute store front and cozy, welcoming feel on the inside. There’s an upstairs section which I did not see. Requested the front window seat when I rang to book and they honoured that! The bottle of Pinot was perfect. The flatbread with satay dip was tasty. I ordered the satay noodles with seafood and it was just beautiful - and I never eat Thai. My parents both enjoyed their meals! The banana fritter for dessert was amazing! (don’t expect a deep fried fritter when ordering). Friendly staff ☺️ Can’t wait to come back!
The food was delicious, atmosphere perfect and amazing service. A comfy quite space filled with a positive homy energy from staff. My partner and I loved it. If we are around here again we will definitely come back 🩷
Excellent red curry and spicy beef stir fry, take the western food off the menu, really enjoyed this little eatery. Portions are generous and price is very reasonable.
